The Renville County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016, in Suite 313 of the Renville County Government Services Center, 105 South 5th Street, Olivia, Minnesota.

The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following amendments of the Renville County Land Use Ordinance:

1.  Amendment of Chapter One (Administration), Section 2 (Definitions).  The proposed amendment defines words found in Chapter Two (Zoning Regulations) of the Renville County Land Use Ordinance.

2.  Amendment of Chapter Two (Zoning Regulations), Part 1, Section 4 (Urban Expansion District), regarding district purpose and permitted, conditional, and interim uses.

3.  Amendment of Chapter Two (Zoning Regulations), Part 1, regarding the adoption of a new primary zoning district entitled “HMU” Healthcare/Mixed Use District.

4.  Amendment of Chapter Two (Zoning Regulations), Part 2, Section 2 (Lot and Setback Requirements), regarding lot and setback requirements for uses proposed in the “HMU” Healthcare/Mixed Use District.

The proposed amendments are on file in the office of the Renville County Division of Environment and Community Development for review during regular business hours or online at under “News & Events.”
