On-Site Visitation Hours:

Sunday - Saturday:   1:00 PM to 4:30 PM  &   6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Fridays:  NO EVENING VISITS

Visitation with inmates in the Renville County Jail can occur by coming to the Renville County Sheriff's Office.  Visitation will occur via video visitation, with equipment at the Sheriff's Office.

Visitation Rules:
Visits will be granted on a first come, first serve basis.
Visitation for pre-arraigned inmates is granted only to immediate family members or significant others.
Visits between the victim and inmate will not be granted, regardless of the relationship.
All visitors must present a photo ID and are subject to a background/warrants checks.
No visitation will be allowed for anyone with an active warrant, regardless of extradition limits.
Full name and date of birth must be provided for all juvenile visitors.
One adult visitor per visitation station.
Juvenile visitors must be accompanied by an adult.
One juvenile visitor, accompanied by one adult, per visitation station.
On-site visits are limited to 20 minutes in duration.  
One additional 20 minute extension on your visit is allowed.  Please make your request to dispatch before the initial visit ends.
Visitation extension requests will be denied if someone else is waiting.  You may wait for another turn to visit, but will continue to be bumped as new visitors arrive.  
No person under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance will be allowed to visit.
No person who is disruptive or considered dangerous is allowed to visit.
Visitors may not wear sexually inappropriate or revealing clothing. 
No nudity, vulgarity, lewdness or other inappropriate conduct is allowed.
No yelling or offensive language is allowed.  Visitors/Inmates must speak in a moderate tone of voice.
All visits are recorded and monitored.

(Other than for clergy and attorneys of record, no in-person visitation is allowed.)
