COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the Safe at Home Order,  all DMVs in MN will be closed March 28, 2020.
At this time the state is still allowing Mail in and Online tab renews.
Please use the following link for online services.

State Online Services

**Road testing is being cancelled statewide March 18 utill further notice.  There will be no State Examiners at the Renville  County License Center until futhur notice.  At this time there will be no written tests, road tests or reinstatement fees taken at this location.**

At this time Driver License Renews are not being processed.
If you drivers licnese expires during the Safe at Home Order, you are only expired and will not have to retest.
 


Reminders for Customers.

As of October 1, 2018 we are taking applications for the Real ID, Enhanced Drivers License and Standard Drivers License.

The new Real ID license will be required for travel beginning October 1, 2020 within the United States.

Deadline for Enhanced Drivers License is 3:30 pm Monday-Friday

Written test/Drivers test exam location has changed to the lower level of the court house effective July 5, 2017.
